Onsite Chef

Chef Roberth Sundell

Award Winning Michelin Chef & Restauranter

Born and raised in Stockholm, Chef Roberth Sundell was steeped in Scandinavian culinary tradition from an early age, learning from his grandmother, a Garde Manger at the historic Ulriksdals Värdshus. His career began under Master Chef Orjan Klein at the National Museum of Stockholm, where he cooked for the Swedish royal family and a Nobel Peace Prize dinner. After honing his craft in London—cooking for Prince Charles at Wimbledon—Roberth moved to the U.S., working in Scottsdale and Los Angeles before settling in Northern California. In 2012, he realized a lifelong dream by opening PLÄJ in San Francisco, an acclaimed restaurant blending California’s bounty with Scandinavian flavors, earning him the Scandinavian Pathfinder Award and a spot on the San Francisco Chronicle’s Top 100 list. Building on that success, he and his wife Andrea launched Stockhome in Petaluma, which earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2019 and reflects both their culinary passion and family roots in the local community. Roberth will be serving lunch and afternoon bites for us to truly indulge and nourish with some of the best food Northern California has to offer.
